The soil uniaxial and triaxial (soil infiltration) pressure volume control system is a universal water pressure source and volumetric gauge. Mainly used for teaching soil mechanics laboratory. A stepper motor and screw driver drive the piston to directly compress water. Pressure is regulated through closed-loop control. By calculating the number of steps of the stepper motor and measuring the constant volume change pressure, 1mm3 (0.001cc) can be measured.

Firstly, the device has its own computer interface that can be directly controlled through a computer.

In addition, the instrument can be programmed through the control panel to apply pressure according to the slope and cyclic loading method, or to control the volume change linearly over time. This means that the device is also an ideal equipment for permeability testing, which can achieve constant flow rate or constant water head.

The data collector can be connected to an analog interface to read pressure and body strain values.
