Operation Method

Preparation: Ensure that the measuring base and the moving flat block are at the same level, install and fix the dial gauge head, and tighten the locking screw. After turning on the machine, clear the display screen to ensure that the initial value is zero.
Measurement Process: Place the base steadily on the mark to be measured, adjust the joint of the moving block to be parallel to the edge of the mark, and let it fall freely to contact the surface. Press the hold button to lock the data, read and record the display value.
Function Setting: Support unit switching (metric/imperial, depending on the model function). Some models have data export function, which needs to be operated according to the manual.

Precautions

1. Calibration & Accuracy

Before measuring, the instrument zero value needs to be adjusted. Keep the surface of the mark clean to prevent dust from affecting accuracy.

2. Operation Specification

The probe must contact the surface vertically. Sliding is prohibited to prevent wear. Wait a few seconds between measurements.

3. Maintenance & Storage

Remove the battery when not in use. Store in a dry environment. Clean and lubricate parts regularly with a fine cotton cloth.
